Ummeed... Zindagi

Diye hain maine zindagi ko bahut saare mauke

Khaayi hain har baar dhokhe  

Waqt ke saath bhar jaayega yeh zakham bhi..

Pagal kaho ya Pathhar

Nayi ummeed se shuru kiya maine apna safar

ab; dard se darr nahi lagta bilkul bhi!

Running and Running, But For What?

Looking forward to a night, when I can go to bed without setting an alarm

Looking forward to a day, when I can wake up to no targets and tasks

Looking forward to a realization, when we look more within ourselves rather than others

Looking forward to a time, when we try to live in peace rather than just rest in peace.

Do not get deceived by those smiles

Sit with them for a while

You will get to see their pain, letting out a wail

                                              wet eyes and broken souls

But indeed, tougher enough to get up and continue their sail.
