The Place

You know.. there was a place I had been avoiding going to.

The distance, the unfamiliarity, the weather.. there have been many factors which deterred me.

But one fine afternoon, when I was done with my household chores and sitting on the lawn, I felt I should give it a try.. Life is to explore beyond the 04 walls we have built around ourselves

As if consenting with my impulsiveness, the weather suddenly changed.. A soft breeze started moving making me feel light from within.

I just quickly grabbed my sling bag and started walking in the direction my heart had the GPS to.

Little did I know, everything I felt, seen and experienced were momentary.

Just as I reached the middle way, clouds disappeared and the sun shone.. so bright that sweat started dripping on my face and mind.

I looked left and right, but found nobody.

I was alone.. under that scorching sun, with my eyes feeling heavy,  my feet getting burnt, my body becoming tired.

I wanted to run but I didn't know which way and for how long.

With no way of help visible, I sat down on that pavement cursing my own judgement.. for having set out of my house, my safe zone.. in search of a place, I always avoided going to.
