Empty Road

At the traffic light we stood, 

Staring at the empty road

There were no cars, still we stood, 

because the light was red

All streets converged there

Still we stood..

staring at the empty road, 

because the light was red

Alas! it's yellow, 

but we were told, not to opt the empty road

We started at eachother, coz we knew

Now the light will always be red
